In Vitro Fertilization IVF-ICSI

In Vitro Fertilization (IVF/ICSI) is one of the core specialties of GGRC Armenia. IVF is an advanced reproductive treatment designed to help individuals and couples achieve pregnancy when other treatment methods have not been successful. IVF may be recommended in cases where pregnancy has not occurred despite previous treatments, as well as in the following situations:

  • Difficulties with egg maturation or ovulation;
  • Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes;
  • Male-factor infertility (low sperm count or poor sperm quality);
  • Surrogacy arrangements;
  • Advanced maternal age, when less invasive treatment options may be less effective.

IVF Treatment Options

PRP Therapy
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) Therapy is an innovative treatment that may improve both endometrial health and ovarian function, helping increase the chances of pregnancy.

PRP is prepared from the patient's own blood. In a laboratory setting, platelet-rich plasma containing growth factors is separated and concentrated. This biologically active serum is then carefully administered into the uterine cavity or ovaries, depending on the treatment plan. The procedure is minimally invasive, virtually painless, and typically takes only 1-2 minutes.

PRP may help promote:

  • Endometrial cell growth and regeneration;
  • Formation of new microvascular networks;
  • Reduction of inflammation;
  • Tissue repair and rejuvenation.

As a result, the endometrium may become more receptive to embryo implantation, potentially improving pregnancy outcomes. PRP therapy may be particularly beneficial for patients with:

  • Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (POI);
  • Low AMH levels;
  • Poor ovarian response to stimulation medications.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI)

IUI is a less invasive fertility treatment in which specially prepared sperm is placed directly into the uterus during the most fertile phase of the menstrual cycle.

By shortening the distance sperm must travel to reach the egg, IUI increases the likelihood of fertilization and pregnancy.
When Is IUI Recommended?

  • Mild to moderate male-factor infertility.
  • Ovulation disorders with preserved ovarian reserve.
  • Unexplained infertility.
  • Conception using donor sperm.

Benefits of IUI

  • Less invasive and more affordable compared to IVF.
  • Performed in an outpatient setting, without anesthesia.
  • No egg retrieval or embryo culture is necessary.
  • Can be highly effective in selected cases of infertility.

Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
ICSI is a specialized fertilization technique in which a single healthy sperm is injected directly into an egg using advanced micromanipulation technology. This procedure is particularly effective in cases of male-factor infertility, including low sperm count, poor sperm motility, or abnormal sperm morphology. Egg Freezing Egg freezing offers women the opportunity to preserve their fertility for the future. It may be an ideal option for those who are not yet ready to start a family or who are planning medical treatments that could affect their reproductive health. By preserving healthy eggs at an earlier age, patients can increase their future reproductive options and chances of achieving pregnancy.

Donor IVF/ICSI Programs For patients who require donor eggs or donor sperm, GGRC Armenia provides comprehensive support throughout the entire process. Our team assists with donor selection, treatment planning, and coordination of all medical procedures, ensuring a safe, confidential, and compassionate experience on the journey to parenthood. GGRC Armenia offers affordable IVF/ICSI packages that include all essential services required throughout treatment.

Egg Donation Egg donation is a treatment option for women who are unable to conceive using their own eggs. In this process, eggs retrieved from a donor during an IVF cycle are used to help another woman achieve pregnancy. Donors undergo thorough screening and treatment, while recipients are provided with the opportunity to build their families through assisted reproduction.
